Vijayasree General Merchants

I run Vijayasree General Merchants in the Muralinagar area of Visakhapatnam. The shop is very easy to find because it’s right near the 48A bus stop. I see the buses come and go all day long. It’s a good spot for a general merchant store. I sell a wide variety of goods, mostly things for the house like spices, grains, and toiletries. Visakhapatnam is a beautiful city, and this neighborhood is quite friendly. I’ve lived here most of my life. The shop is my main focus every day. I start by sweeping the front and arranging the displays. I don’t have a big team of workers, so I do most of the heavy lifting myself. It’s a bit tiring but keeps me fit. The 530007 pin code area has many small shops, but I try to keep my place well-stocked so people don't have to go far. I don’t believe in using fancy words to describe what I do. I’m just a merchant selling everyday items to local people. Some days are slow, especially when it rains, but usually, there’s a steady stream of folks coming from the bus stop. I enjoy the routine of it all. It’s a practical business that serves the people around Murali Nagar, and that’s enough for me.
