Venkatesh Spices

We've been here on Gandhi Road for quite a while now. Venkatesh Spices is just a small place at 65-3 in Maratipalem. Most days it’s just us handling the bags and making sure everything is where it should be. It gets busy, especially when the weather changes, but we manage. People know where to find us. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just the shop floor and the stock. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere but that's just part of working with these things. We open up early and stay till we're done. It's nothing too complicated. We just focus on getting things sorted and ready for whoever comes by. Maratipalem is a quiet enough area but Gandhi Road keeps us on our toes. There’s always someone stopping in or a truck pulling up. We’ve lived around here for years, so we know the neighbors and how things work on this street. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless we have to. Most of the work is just physical, moving stuff around and making sure the labels are right. If you’re passing by 65-3, you’ll see the sign. It’s been there for as long as I can remember. We just keep going, day after day, doing what we do. It’s a job and we’re glad to have it here in this part of town.
