Venkata Hari Sai Kirana & General Store

We are tucked away in Indira Nagar, right here in the Gopalapatnam area of Visakhapatnam. Most days start pretty early because that is when the neighborhood wakes up and people need their basic things before heading to work or school. Living and working in 530027, you get used to the pace of the streets. Venkata Hari Sai Kirana & General Store isn't a fancy place, just a regular spot where you can find what you need for the kitchen or the house without having to go all the way into the city center. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming back home. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there are bags and boxes around while we are restocking the shelves. It is just how a local kirana store works. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. People come in for a pack of lentils or maybe some soap, and we just get it done. The building itself is simple, nothing that stands out from the road, but the locals know where we are. It feels good to be part of the Indira Nagar community. We have been here for a while now, watching the kids grow up and the neighborhood change little by little. It is just a practical place for practical needs, and that is how we like to keep it every day for everyone.
