Venkat Beauty Saloon is located in the R H Colony area of Vadlapudi. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the Taj Departmental Store. It’s a good landmark for people who aren't from around here. We are in the 530046 area of Visakhapatnam. The saloon is a straightforward place. We focus on hair cuts and shaving for men, and some basic grooming. It’s the kind of place where men come to relax for a bit and get a trim. We have the old-style chairs that are comfortable enough. There is usually a newspaper laying around for people to read while they wait. We don’t have a fancy booking system. You just walk in and wait for your turn. Sometimes the wait is short, sometimes it’s long. We do our best to move quickly. The walls have a few posters, and we keep our scissors and razors sharp. It’s a very practical environment. We don’t use any scented candles or anything like that. It smells like shaving cream and talcum powder here. Most of our customers live in the colony or work nearby. We’ve been here long enough that we know everyone’s name. It’s not a corporate business; it’s just a local shop run by local people. We stay open quite late to help the office workers who come home in the evening and need a haircut.
