Our office is in Murali Nagar, right near the Rama Temple in Visakhapatnam. The address is 39-10-17. Being near the temple means it’s usually quite peaceful, except during festival times when the whole street gets crowded. We work for Thomas Cook, helping people with their travel plans and money stuff. It’s a decent-sized office, but it feels like a local shop. People walk in all the time asking about flights or where they should go for a holiday. We sit at our desks and try to find the best options on the screen. The fans hum overhead and we usually have some tea on the table. We don't use a lot of fancy sales talk. We just tell people what’s available and what it costs. Vizag is a nice place to work, especially in this part of town. Murali Nagar has a lot of trees and it’s not as loud as the city center. We’ve been here at this location for a good bit of time. The staff knows the regulars who come in every year for their trips. We aren't trying to be the biggest office, just a reliable one where you can come and talk to a real person. It feels more like a community service sometimes than a big company. We keep the place tidy and try to make sure everyone feels welcome.
