Swethas Beauty Parlour

Swethas Beauty Parlour is situated in the Murali Nagar area of Visakhapatnam. You can find us at building number 35-12-85, which is very near the Vibhav Venkateswara Swami Temple. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of people passing by every day. Many women stop in after they finish their prayers to get their hair done or maybe some henna on their hands. The air in Vizag is often salty and humid, so we deal with a lot of frizzy hair here. We have a cozy setup inside. It’s mostly me and another girl handling the customers. We have some shelves with creams and bottles, and we try to keep everything organized, though it gets messy when we are busy. We don’t have a big staff, so sometimes you might have to wait a little bit on a bench. We talk about local things, like the weather or the price of groceries at the market. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except when there’s a festival at the temple. Then the whole area is full of noise and music.
