Svps Hai The Saloon

This shop is called Svps Hai The Saloon, and you can find us at 39-10-5/1 in Tenneti Nagar. We are located in the Murali Nagar area of Visakhapatnam, right beside the Spencers supermarket. Having the supermarket next door is handy because people often stop in for a haircut after they finish their grocery shopping. The shop is a basic men’s saloon. We have a row of chairs, some big mirrors, and the usual clippers and scissors. The floor is usually covered in a bit of hair because we stay pretty busy, though we try to sweep it up every chance we get. The Vizag sea breeze doesn't always reach this far inland, so it can get a bit warm, but we have the fans and the lights going all day. We aren't trying to be a high-end lounge or anything. It is just a place for guys to get a quick trim or a shave so they look neat for work or school. We’ve got some posters on the wall showing different styles, but most people just ask for the same thing they always get. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighborhood knows us well. It’s a simple life, cutting hair and talking to the men about cricket or the local news while the traffic hums along outside on the main road. We just keep our heads down and do the work as it comes.
