Sunith Sugars

Sunith Sugars is located down at 965, Sagar Nagar, right in the Yendada area. Being so close to the sea, the air always feels a bit heavy and salt-tinged. It is a decent spot, though the humidity makes the sugar business a bit tricky sometimes. We have to be very careful about how we store things so nothing gets ruined by the dampness. The warehouse at 965 is basically just a big shed with a tin roof. When it rains, the sound is so loud you can’t even hear yourself think over the noise. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy bags around. It is the kind of work that makes your back ache by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have a small corner with a fan that mostly just moves the warm air around. The neighbors in Sagar Nagar are mostly quiet people, and we try not to make too much noise with the trucks coming in. We’ve been here for several years and have seen the neighborhood change from empty plots to rows of houses. We know the local shopkeepers and the guys who deliver our drinking water every morning. There isn’t much to say about us other than we work hard and keep the place running as best we can. We don't use fancy words or have big meetings about nothing. We just get the sugar out to whoever needs it and go home.
