Style The Saloon is located at Door No: 37-12-76 in the Nggos Colony area of Murali Nagar. We are quite close to the Vaibhava Venkateswara Swamy Temple, so we get a lot of people passing by our door on their way to or from prayers. Visakhapatnam is a busy place and this neighborhood is no different. The shop has a practical layout with the chairs lined up against the wall. We have the usual blue and white towels and a stack of newspapers for anyone waiting. It is a local place, nothing like those expensive salons in the big shopping centers. The light inside is a bit bright from the tube lights, but it helps us see what we are doing. We mostly do haircuts and basic shaves for the men around here. Sometimes someone wants a head massage after a long day at work, and we do that too. The floor is made of grey stone and we are always sweeping up bits of hair. It gets dusty because of the road outside, so we have to wipe the counters down pretty often. It's a small team of us working here. We know the regulars by name and what kind of cut they like. There’s a certain rhythm to the day, starting slow in the morning and getting busier as the sun goes down and people finish their jobs. We just keep working until the last person is finished.
