Ssv Salon is right on the Main Road in China Waltiar, Visakhapatnam. If you know where the Masjid is, we are directly opposite to it. It’s a good location because everyone knows the landmark. The traffic on the Main Road is always moving, and we see all sorts of people walking by throughout the day. Our shop is pretty basic. We’ve got the chairs, the mirrors, and the usual drawers full of combs and shears. It’s not one of those modern places with lots of glass and chrome. We prefer it this way. It feels more like home. A lot of our customers come in after prayer or while they’re out running errands in the 530003 area. We spend a lot of time chatting about local things happening in Vizag. The humidity can be tough sometimes, so the fan is always on high. We keep a regular schedule, opening up early and closing once the street gets quiet. There’s no big team here, just us working the chairs. We don't take online bookings or anything complicated. You just walk in and we'll get to you as soon as we can. Sometimes there is a wait, but people don't seem to mind much. They just sit and look out at the road. It’s a familiar routine for everyone involved. We’ve been here long enough that the shop feels like part of the neighborhood fabric now.
