Located at Door No 10-6-43 on the Main Road in Ram Nagar, our little shop is right in the middle of everything in Visakhapatnam. Being near the Lions Club means people use that as a landmark to find us. The traffic outside is always humming, and you can hear the horns from inside. We keep the door open mostly to let some air in. It’s a straightforward salon where we focus on getting the job done right. I spend a lot of time making sure the towels are clean and the razors are ready. It is a bit of a walk-in kind of place where you don't need a big appointment or anything. People from the nearby offices come in during their lunch breaks sometimes. We have a couple of chairs and some mirrors that have been here for years. You can see the wear on the floor where I stand all day. Vizag weather makes hair grow fast, I think, because people are always coming back sooner than expected. It’s just me and the guys working here, keeping it simple. We don't use any of those expensive products you see in malls. Just regular stuff that works. The afternoon sun hits the front window around three o'clock. That’s usually when I take a quick tea break if it’s not too crowded. Then it’s back to the scissors until we close up for the night.
