Srk Saloon

Our shop is Srk Saloon, over in the 104 Area of Marripalem in Visakhapatnam. We are right beside the Vizag Defence Academy College. Because of where we are, we get a lot of young students coming in for their haircuts. They usually want something quick so they can get back to their classes. It’s a regular men’s saloon, nothing very fancy or complicated. We have a few chairs and the basic tools we need. We don't have air conditioning that works perfectly all the time, but the fans keep it cool enough for a quick cut. Most of the day, we are just talking about cricket or whatever is happening in the news while we work. We have some older regulars too, men who have lived in Marripalem for decades and wouldn't go anywhere else. They often sit and chat even after their hair is finished. The shop is small and the walls have some old posters on them. We keep the razors sharp and the towels as clean as possible. It’s a humble business. We don't have a big sign or anything like that. People just know where we are. It’s a practical place to get a haircut and catch up on the local gossip. We just try to do a decent job every day and keep our customers happy. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood for the guys around here.
