We’ve been here in Dondaparthy for a while now. If you look up when you’re passing by Balaji Furniture, that’s where you’ll find Srikanakamahalakshmi Herbal Beutyparlour. It’s a bit of a climb upstairs, but most people don't mind once they get inside. We started this place because we liked working with herbal ingredients and it just grew from there. The neighborhood in Visakhapatnam is busy, but our shop is a bit quieter. Most of the people who come in live right around here or work in the nearby offices. We don’t have any fancy posters or big signs, just a simple setup where we do our work. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and we might be chatting with a neighbor while we work, but that’s just how it is here. We use things like neem and turmeric mostly. It’s not like those big city salons you see in malls. We know our customers by name usually. If you’re looking for the place, just find the furniture store first, it’s easier that way. We keep regular hours, though sometimes we close a bit early if it’s a slow Tuesday. It’s just us running the show, trying to keep things straightforward. No one here is wearing a suit or using big words. We just handle the herbal treatments and make sure everyone feels okay before they head back out into the heat. It’s a small space, but we make it work for us and the people who visit.
