Sri Venkateswara Stores is tucked away in Shanthi Nagar, over in the Nad area of Visakhapatnam. The address is 58-15-120. It is a quiet residential part of town, so we see the same faces almost every single day. Most people around here know where we are. We keep the place simple. There are stacks of biscuits, rows of oils, and all the basic things a family needs for their home. The morning is usually the busiest time because everyone wants their fresh supplies before they start cooking. I spend a lot of time just moving boxes around and making sure the jars are full. Since we are in Shanthi Nagar, it’s a bit away from the main road noise, which is nice. You can actually hear yourself think here. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. We just open the doors and wait for the neighbors to come by. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to tell people to wait until tomorrow, which isn't ideal but it happens.
