Sri Venkateshwara Saloon

Sri Venkateshwara Saloon is a small place located on Highschool Road in the Gajuwaka area. We are tucked right beside Navata Transport, so there are often big trucks or delivery vans moving around nearby. The address is 530026, and we have been part of this neighborhood in Visakhapatnam for a good stretch of time. Because of the high school being on the same road, we get a lot of students passing by in the afternoons, making the area quite lively. Inside the saloon, we keep things pretty basic. We have the usual chairs and mirrors, and we try to keep the floor swept between visitors. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy decorations or expensive magazines on the tables. We just have a simple bench for waiting and a small television that usually has the news or a movie playing. The staff here are mostly local guys who have lived in Gajuwaka their whole lives. We know a lot of the families around here. If you are looking for us, just head towards the transport office and you will see our door. The breeze from the coast sometimes reaches us, but mostly it is just the hum of the ceiling fans. We keep our hours regular so people know when they can drop in. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop where people come to get a haircut and chat for a bit.
