Sri Sai Pavan Hair Styles is my little shop in Vuda Colony, Gajuwaka. You can find us at Door No: 24-22-13, which is right opposite the Bachpan School. Being across from the school means I see a lot of parents and kids throughout the day. I’ve been living in Visakhapatnam for a long time and I’ve seen Gajuwaka grow so much. This shop is just a small part of that growth. It’s a place for a basic haircut or a shave. I keep the place simple because that’s what people around here like. We have a few chairs and I make sure the fans are running because it gets quite hot in Vizag. The pincode is 530026. Most of my customers live right here in Vuda Colony, so it’s a very friendly environment. We talk about the local news and the weather while I work. I don't use fancy products, just the usual stuff you find in any local saloon. It’s not a place where you need to dress up to come in. You can just walk in from the street. I try to be quick so people can get back to their jobs or their families. If you’re near the Bachpan School and need a haircut, just look across the road. We are usually here six days a week, sometimes seven if there’s a lot of work to do. It’s a humble business but it keeps us going. I like the routine of opening up every morning and getting the tools ready for whoever comes in.
