Sri Ramesh Departmental Stores

We are located right on Visakha Road in Srungavarapu Kota. It is a busy stretch of road and you can’t miss the shop because of the blue shutters. Most people around here just call us the local store. We have been sitting in this spot at 5-95 for a long time now. Inside, the shelves are packed pretty tight with all sorts of things like dals, soaps, and plastic buckets. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when the wind blows from the main road, but we try to keep it clean. My uncle started this place years ago and now we just keep it going. It is not like those fancy malls in the city. We have a few fans that hum all day and a wooden counter where we write down orders. The regulars come in every morning for their milk or tea powder and we know most of them by name. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. That is just how things go. We keep the shop open until late in the evening because that is when the workers come home and need their supplies. It is a simple life here and the work keeps us busy enough. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People know we are here if they need something for their kitchen or house. We just want to keep the lights on and help the neighbors get what they need without a fuss.
