Sri Kameswari Kirana & Generals

We run Sri Kameswari Kirana & Generals over in the Gajuwaka area of Visakhapatnam. Our shop is located at Door No 10-3-15/3 on Kanthi Road. We are right at the 60 Feet Road Junction, which is a very busy place to be. There is always a lot of traffic and people moving around the intersection. We sell all the regular kirana stuff like flour, oils, and spices. Because we are at the junction, we get a nice breeze coming through the shop, which helps when the Vizag humidity gets bad. My cousin and I started this business quite a few years back. We didn't have much to start with, but we’ve built it up over time. The shop isn't fancy at all. We just have simple shelves and we put things wherever there is space. Gajuwaka is a place where many people work in the nearby industries, so we see them stopping by after their shifts are over. We have a lot of regulars who we’ve known for years. We even keep a ledger for some of them who pay at the end of the month. It’s a system built on trust. We recently had to fix the roof because it leaked during the last big storm, but now everything is dry. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket, just a reliable local store where people can get what they need for their homes.
