You can find us over by the water tank in Kothapeta. We are located in the Chittavalsa area of the Visakhapatnam district. The place is often called P.Thirumala Rao's spot by the locals. We work under the Smartchem name, and we are connected to the larger Deepak Fertilisers group. Being in AP, the weather is usually quite warm, and being near the coast means there is always a bit of salt in the air. Our facility here is where we handle the logistics and the local distribution. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming in and out pretty often. We have a small office staff who keeps track of the shipments and the stock levels. It’s not a quiet place because of the machinery and the transport, but we've grown used to the noise. We deal with a lot of agricultural products which are important for the farmers around here. My desk is near the window where I can see the water tank. We just keep things moving every day. Sometimes there are delays at the port or on the roads, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just focus on getting the products where they need to go and making sure the records are right. It’s a lot of coordination but we get through it.
