Sln Kirana & General Stores

Sln Kirana & General Stores is located at Door No 7-5-60 in the Auto Nagar area of Visakhapatnam. We are in Chittivani Palem, right opposite the local sub station. This area is quite busy with all the transport and mechanical work going on nearby. Because of the location, we get a lot of workers stopping by for a quick snack, a cigarette, or some water during their breaks. We also supply the local homes with their weekly groceries like atta, oil, and spices. The shop has been in the family for a good while. It’s not a very large space, so we have to be clever about how we stack the crates and boxes. There’s always a bit of dust because of the trucks moving on the road outside, but we try our best to keep the counters clean. We don't have any fancy marketing or big sales. We just sell things at the normal price and try to be helpful when someone is looking for a specific brand of soap or tea. Sometimes we sit on the wooden stools out front when there aren't any customers, just watching the traffic go by the sub station. It’s a practical life, and we are happy to be a part of this little community in Chittivani Palem. Most people know us, and we know them, which makes the days go by faster. We keep the fridge stocked with cold drinks for the summer.
