The walls are a bit plain, and the floor has some deep scratches from all the feet walking over it for years, but it feels like home to me now. I start my work early, usually well before the very first bus arrives at the stop. It is a quiet time to get everything ready and organized. We do not go for anything fancy or complicated here. It is just a place for men to get their hair done without any fuss or waiting around too long. The breeze from the coast sometimes reaches us here in Venkojipalem.
