We are right near the Akkayyalam Junction, in TSN Colony. If you can find the Rajahmundry Silk House, you’re very close to us. It’s a busy intersection, and you can always hear the traffic from the junction throughout the day. I’ve lived in Vizag my whole life, and I love the energy of this neighborhood. Our parlor isn't anything grand, but we keep it tidy. The smell of sandalwood and various herbs is usually the first thing people notice when they walk in. We have these jars of powders and oils that we use for the treatments. Most of the ladies who come here prefer the natural way of doing things. It’s a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but it’s a nice area to walk through. We get a lot of college students and working women who need a break from the sun. The chairs are old-fashioned but they do the job. We don’t really do those chemical treatments you see in the big malls. It’s more about the traditional stuff that our mothers and grandmothers used. We have a small staff, and we all know the regulars pretty well. It’s just a quiet spot to get away from the city noise for an hour.
