Siva Manikantha General Store

Siva Manikantha General Store is located at 39 in the Siddeswaram R.H.Colony. If you are familiar with the Pedagantyada area, you probably know where the colony is. It’s a fairly quiet place most of the time, except when the kids are out or people are coming home from work. The store itself is just a basic setup. We have the counters and the jars filled with different things. It’s mostly just a one-man or two-man job keeping track of everything. We don’t have fancy displays or bright lights, just the normal bulbs. Sometimes the stock arrives late and we have to stay up a bit to get it all inside so nothing gets ruined. The weather around here can be a bit dusty, so we are always wiping down the glass and the counters. It’s a lot of small talk with the locals while we pack their bags. We don't really have a big plan for the future, just keeping the shop running and making sure the shelves aren't empty. It’s a lot of little things to remember, like who wanted what or when the next delivery is coming. The address is easy enough to remember once you’ve been here once. We’re just here doing our thing every day, from the morning until it gets dark and we close up. It is a lot of standing around, but seeing the neighbors makes it better.
