Shine Beauty Care

Shine Beauty Care is on Kadambari Road, specifically Door No 21-1-23 in Chengalraopeta. This is in Visakhapatnam. We are also on the SKML Temple Road, so it is a very traditional neighborhood. You can hear the temple music and the bells during the morning and evening prayers. The street is quite narrow and can get crowded with scooters. Our shop is small and only has space for a few people at a time. I run it with one helper. We do a lot of regular beauty things like threading and facials for the women who live in the houses nearby. It is a very friendly place. We know everyone’s family stories. The shop has a small window that looks out onto the street. I have some plants on the sill but they don't get much sun. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a small one over the door. The interior is very simple with a few shelves for the creams and powders we use. Visakhapatnam is a humid place so we have to be careful with the products. It’s not a corporate business, just a small shop where we try to work hard. Most of our days are quiet until the afternoon when the ladies finish their housework. We just do our bit and keep the place going as best as we can. It’s a decent life for us.
