Satish Spices

Satish Spices is tucked away in Pakirsaheb Peta, right here in Chodavaram. The air around our place usually smells like whatever we are handling that day. It’s a smell you get used to after a while. We are at door number 41-273. It’s not a grand building, just a sturdy place where we can do our work. Most of us here are from the nearby streets. We know the farmers and the people who bring the goods to us. Chodavaram is a place where everyone knows everyone’s business, so we try to keep things honest and simple. We don't have a big marketing department. We just have our hands and the bags of spices. Some days are busier than others, especially during harvest times. We spend a lot of time weighing things and checking quality. It’s dusty and sometimes makes you sneeze, but that’s the nature of it. We just provide what people need for their kitchens. We don't use fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is just manual labor. We’ve been here for a good few years and plan to stay. If you’re looking for us, just ask someone in the Peta area, they’ll point you toward our door. It’s just how things work in a small town like this. We aren't looking for fame, just to keep the shop running and the spices moving along.
