Sai Screens

We’re situated at No. 48-7-27 on Old Veg. Market Road. You can find us right beside the SBI in the Srinagar area. It’s a pretty easy spot to locate once you’re on the main road. At Sai Screens, we mostly deal with screen printing and related work. The shop is filled with the smell of ink and cleaning fluids. It’s not a smell everyone likes, but we’ve grown fond of it over the years. We have racks and frames leaning against the walls in no particular order. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. The foot traffic from the bank next door means we see a lot of people every day. We don’t really do much advertising. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or a friend told them we were here. We keep it simple. If we can do a job, we say so. If we can’t, we don’t waste your time. The market road stays busy from early morning, and we usually open up around the same time the other shops do. It’s a regular routine. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the screens. We just take it day by day and try to keep the ink flowing and the orders moving along as best we can.
