It’s a basic general store, nothing more and nothing less. We stock the usual items that families around here need for their kitchens and homes. Some days are slow, especially when it’s really hot outside and nobody wants to walk to the shop. Other days, like when festivals are coming up, it feels like everyone in the neighborhood shows up at once. We try to keep up with what people ask for, but sometimes it takes a bit for the new stock to arrive. The shop space is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot in, so you have to watch your step sometimes. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights, just the name above the door. Most of our customers are people who have lived in Vizianagaram their whole lives and they know us by name. It's a lot of manual work, and by the end of the day, our backs usually ache a bit.
