R.K General Stores

R.K General Stores has been sitting here in Seethammapeta for a good bit of time. Our spot is at D.No.50-93-25, right across from the street that leads to the main road in Visakhapatnam. It’s a handy location for people living around here. We carry all the little things, like matches, tea powder, and lentils. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use all the wall space we have. Sometimes things get stacked pretty high. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us working the counter and helping people find what they need. You can hear the bikes zooming past on the main road all day long. It's quite a lively area to be in. We don't do much in the way of advertising. People just know we are here. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use a torch to find the right spice packets for a customer. It's just part of running a shop in this neighborhood. We try to keep the prices fair so the locals keep coming back. The front door sticks a bit when it rains, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We're just a regular part of the street. Most of our customers are friends we've known for years. We stay open until late evening because that's when everyone finishes their work. It's a simple business but it keeps us on our feet every single day.
