Ranu Beautyparlour

Ranu Beautyparlour is situated on B C Road in Gajuwaka. The shop is right near the Kakithya Junction in Visakhapatnam. Because of the junction, there is always a lot of traffic and noise from the buses and bikes. I spend a lot of my time wiping down the counters because the dust from the road comes inside every time someone opens the door. The shop is just a regular space with the equipment I need. I have a couple of chairs that are getting a bit old, but they are still comfortable enough for people to sit in. I usually open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There isn’t much to the place, just some shelves with bottles and the mirrors on the walls. I have a small stool where I sit when there aren't any customers. Sometimes I listen to the radio to pass the time. Gajuwaka is a busy place, and most of my customers are just local people looking for a simple haircut or something basic. I don’t use any complicated words to describe what I do. It’s just work. I handle everything myself, from the cleaning to the actual beauty work. Some days are busier than others, especially on the weekends when people are off from their jobs. It’s a steady routine that I’ve gotten used to over the years here on B C Road.
