Rameswaram Saloon

Rameswaram Saloon has been sitting here on Bc Road in the Pedagantyada area for quite a while now. Most people in Visakhapatnam know exactly where we are because we are located right near the fire station. It makes it pretty easy for folks to give directions to their friends when they are coming by. We don't have any of those fancy chairs or big glowing signs you see in the malls. It is just a regular shop where we do haircuts and shaves for the people who live nearby. The address is 530044, and we have been at this spot long enough to know most of the faces that walk through the door. Sometimes the fire trucks make a lot of noise, but we just keep working through it. The shop is small and we keep it as tidy as we can, sweeping up the hair after every person leaves the chair. There are a couple of ceiling fans to keep things cool when the weather gets hot. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and take a seat on the bench if someone is already in the chair. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is done for the day. If you are around Bc Road and need a quick trim, you will probably see our door open. We are just a local spot for local people.
