Pabbisetti Jagadiswara

Visakhapatnam has a way of feeling both big and small at the same time. Down here in the 530001 area, we are right in the thick of things. My name is Pabbisetti Jagadiswara and I’ve been operating out of this location for a good chunk of my life. It’s a solid building, though the salt air from the coast does a number on the paint every few years. I don’t mind it much. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and the tools we need for the day's work. It can get pretty humid in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes off the water. I didn't set out to do anything revolutionary. I just saw a need for what I do and decided to fill it. Most days are pretty quiet, punctuated by the sounds of the street outside. I have a few people who help me, and we’ve become a bit of a small family over the years. We eat lunch together and complain about the heat. When someone comes in, they get treated like a regular person. We don’t use any scripts or fancy greetings. You just tell us what’s on your mind and we see what we can do. It’s a plain way of doing business, but it’s worked for us so far. Being in Vizag is great because the people are generally patient and kind.
