I work out of Flat No G-1 in Aparna Apartment. It’s on the first floor. This is in Sanjeevayya Nagar, right in the NAD Kotha Road area of Visakhapatnam. Being in an apartment makes it feel a bit different than a shop on a main street. It’s more quiet here. Most people who come by live in the building or just a few blocks away. I’ve been doing this for a while now. The space is simple. I have my tools and a chair set up. It’s easy to find once you get into the NAD area. Visakhapatnam is a big city, but this little corner feels more like a neighborhood. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to say hello. I keep my hours fairly regular, though things change if something comes up. It’s not a big corporate operation, just me working. I like the independence of it. The apartment is easy to keep clean. Clients usually call before they come over so I know when to expect them. It’s a practical way to run things. I’ve seen a lot of people come and go from these apartments. You get to know their stories. It’s a nice way to spend the day, really. The fan keeps the room cool while I work. Just a regular day in Sanjeevayya Nagar. There is a small window that looks out onto the street below. I watch the cars go by when I have a break. It is a good life.
