We are located right beside the Loyola Old Home, which is a landmark everyone around here knows. If you stand outside our door, you can see Cendurthi Railway Station just across the way. The sound of the trains passing by is something we’ve gotten used to over the years. It shakes the windows a little bit every time a heavy freight train rolls through the station. Inside, it smells like plastic and heat because that is the nature of working with polymers. We have bags of raw materials stacked up to the ceiling in some parts of the warehouse. It’s a bit cramped, but we know where everything is kept. The floor is usually covered in little bits of scrap that we sweep up at the end of every day. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the address and the name on the wall. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or people from the local neighborhood. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever wind comes off the tracks. Sometimes the station gets busy and there are people everywhere, but we just stay focused on our machines inside. We’ve been operating here for a while now and the daily routine doesn't change much. We start in the morning, run the equipment, and pack things up by evening. It’s a steady kind of life beside the railway tracks.
