We are located at Shop No.6 in the Vuda Complex, which is right on Post Office Road. Being in Lawsons Bay Colony is nice because it’s a decent area of Visakhapatnam and we get a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. Most people know us because we are right beside the post office, so it is a good landmark if you are trying to find the place for the first time. The shop is not very big, but we make it work with what we have. I usually get here in the morning to sweep up and get the chairs ready. It stays fairly steady throughout the day, especially on weekends when everyone has some free time. We see all kinds of people, from young kids who don’t want to sit still to the older men who have been coming here since we opened. Sometimes the humidity from being near the coast makes things a bit sticky, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. There is no big secret to how we run things. We just do the haircuts and shaving that people ask for. You might have to wait a little while if it's a busy Saturday, but there is usually a newspaper or someone to talk to while you sit. It’s just a normal saloon where you can get cleaned up and go about your day. We try to keep things tidy, even if it gets messy when there are five people waiting.
