Met Life India Insurance

Down here in Vizag, we are located on Old Cbi Road in the Chinna Waltair area. It is a pretty decent spot to be, not too far from the university side of things. At Met Life India Insurance, we spend our days going through documents and talking to people who walk in from the street. The air here usually smells a bit like the sea since we are not that far off. Our office is pretty basic. We have the usual desks, some chairs for visitors, and a ceiling fan that has a bit of a wobble to it. We do not really do the whole corporate polish thing. If you come by, you will probably see one of us drinking tea or trying to find a file that got buried under a stack of other papers. It is a busy life but we like the pace of Vizag. The traffic on the main road can be a headache in the evenings, so we usually try to wrap things up before it gets too bad. We have got a small team and we have all been together long enough that we do not need to say much to know what needs doing. We handle the insurance stuff as it comes. It is mostly just helping neighbors figure out their plans. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have a calendar and a clock that is always five minutes fast.
