Mechel Engineers & Contractors

If you head down to Auto Nagar in Tokada, you will find us at Dr. No. 5-28-27/1. It is a bit of a maze back here with all the different units and workshops, but we have our own corner for Mechel Engineers & Contractors. The air usually smells like burnt oil and cooling metal, which is pretty standard for this part of the world. We handle a lot of different contracting jobs and engineering tasks, so the place is always cluttered with tools, spare parts, and rolled-up blueprints that have seen better days. It is not the kind of place where you would want to wear your best clothes. We spend a lot of time on our feet, either here in the shop or out at various sites where the actual building happens. There is a lot of noise from the neighboring units, which can get annoying, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our desks are usually covered in coffee stains and scribbled notes about dimensions or materials. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating the place. It is a functional space meant for getting things built and fixed. Some days the heat in the workshop is almost too much, so we just keep the fans running and hope for a breeze. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit out front and wait for it to come back. Auto Nagar isn't the prettiest place, but it's where the work is. We're just trying to do right by the people who hire us and keep the bills paid.
