This is where the design work happens, specifically Auto Cad drafting. The office is located at Plot No-52, MIG-2 in MVP Colony, Sector-3, Visakhapatnam. It is a residential neighborhood, so it stays fairly peaceful, which helps when you need to focus on detailed drawings. Srikanya A. and A. Ramakrishna run things from here. It is not a big firm with dozens of architects. It is more of a personal setup where the focus is on getting the lines and measurements right on the screen. We have a couple of high-powered computers because the software can be a bit heavy. The desk is usually covered in printed plans and maybe a few coffee mugs. Sometimes the sea breeze from the coast reaches this part of the colony, which is nice in the summer. We spend hours looking at blueprints and digital models. It is a lot of clicking and zooming in on small details. We do not have a receptionist, so if the door bell rings, one of us just gets up to answer it. People come to us when they need a drawing for a house or a renovation. We just take the dimensions they give us and turn them into something useful. It is a steady kind of work that requires a lot of patience. We have been here in Vizag for a good while and just keep at it every day. It is a simple life.
