This part of Visakhapatnam is always moving, and our shop is right in the thick of it. We do both hair and beauty stuff, so it’s a bit of a mix. Men come in for a quick trim and women come in for their regular parlour work. It’s a very practical kind of place. We don't have any of those expensive sofas or fancy lights you see in the big malls. It’s just a solid, local shop where the tools are sharp and the water is ready. The market outside is noisy, but we are used to it by now. It’s been our home for quite some time. Most of the people who come here are workers from the nearby shops or residents who have lived in Gajuwaka for years. We like the busy atmosphere of Market Road. It keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we have a bit of a wait, but people usually don't mind because they can go grab something from the medical store or the market and come back. It’s just a normal, everyday business trying to do right by the local community here in Vizag. We’ve been here for a while and don’t plan on changing much.
