Mahesh Hairstyle

My shop, Mahesh Hairstyle, is located right on the main road in Gajuwaka. We are directly across from the Padmasree Function Hall. It’s a very busy part of Visakhapatnam. Because of the function hall, we get a lot of people coming in to get cleaned up before a wedding or a party. I’ve been cutting hair here for many years. The shop is small and the tile floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, but it’s home to me. I have two other guys who work with me when it gets crowded. We mainly do haircuts and shaves for men and boys. The traffic on the main road is always loud, but you get used to it after a while. I like being in Gajuwaka because everyone knows everyone else. I don't have a website or anything, I just open the shutters every morning and wait for the customers. We have some old posters on the wall showing different hair styles, though most people just ask for the same thing every time. I try to keep the water cool for head washes. Sometimes the sink leaks a little, but we put a bucket under it. It’s just a normal shop doing its work. If you are passing the function hall, you will see us. We stay open pretty late to catch the people coming home from work.
