Maharani Traders

Maharani Traders is located at 501-234-56A on Thotakurapalem Road. It is a long address for a pretty simple place. We have a storefront that stays open as long as there is light. We mostly deal with local goods and stuff people need for their daily lives. The shelves are a bit crooked because we put too much weight on them, but they hold up fine. We spend a lot of time counting stock and writing things down in our big red ledger. There is no computer here, just a calculator with big buttons. Thotakurapalem Road can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters. We have a small radio that plays the news while we work. People come in to chat as much as they do to buy things. We know who likes what and who is looking for a deal. It is not a big corporate operation. It is just a few of us making sure the inventory is right. Sometimes we get the wrong delivery and have to spend the whole day sending it back. That is just how the trading business goes. We do not have fancy uniforms, just our regular clothes. We like it this way. It feels real and we get to talk to our neighbors every single day. We just take things as they come and keep the door open.
