Lalitha Hair Styles

Lalitha Hair Styles is a small shop I opened up in Gajuwaka. We are at Door No:24-108/2 in Vuda Colony. Most people know the area because we are right opposite the Visakha Defence Academy in China Guntyada. It’s a busy spot with students and local families always walking around. I spend most of my day standing by the chair, cutting hair or styling it for whoever walks through the door. I’ve been doing this for years, so my hands just kind of know what to do now. Visakhapatnam is a big city, but this corner of Gajuwaka feels like a small town where everyone knows each other. I keep the shop open late because that is when most people finish work and have time for a haircut. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is low, but we manage. I don’t have a website or anything like that. I just rely on people seeing the shop when they go past the academy. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so I am always reaching for the broom between customers. It’s hard work on the feet, but I enjoy talking to the different people who sit in my chair. Some want a whole new look and others just want the same trim they have had for twenty years. I do both. It’s just a regular hair shop for regular people who live around Vuda Colony. I’ve been here a long time and plan to stay for as long as I can.
