Lalitha Earth Movers & Constructions

Over here at Mig 232-B in Seethammadhara, in a building we call Lalitha Nilayam, is where we do our work. It is a nice residential area with a lot of trees around, which makes it a bit cooler than the city center. We handle both earth moving and small construction jobs from this location. My father started the construction side of things, and we added the machines later on. The house is where we grew up, so it feels very personal to run the business from here. We have some space for our files and a place to meet people who want to discuss their building plans. It is a quiet street usually, except when we are moving the big machinery out to a site. Seethammadhara has a lot of regular customers who have known our family for years. We don't really do much marketing. Most of our work comes from people seeing what we did for their neighbors. It is a lot of responsibility to make sure the foundations are dug right and the walls go up straight. We stay pretty busy throughout the year. Sometimes we have to work on Sundays if a project is running behind. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep things moving. The name Lalitha Earth Movers & Constructions is something we are proud of because it represents our family. We are just local people doing our bit for the neighborhood.
