We are L D Sports, and you can find us at 6-28-74 on Bowdara Road in Allipuram. The shop isn't very large, so we have bats, balls, and jerseys hanging from the ceiling and stacked in every corner. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood kids usually hang out around the front door looking at the cricket gear. We don't have a big staff, just me and my brother most days. We do some repairs on rackets and fix up old gear when we can. The noise from Bowdara Road is constant, with the horns and the buses going by, but you get used to it after a week or so. We don't have a shiny showroom or air conditioning that actually works. Usually, we just keep the fan on high and leave the door open. It’s a bit messy with all the sports equipment, but we know where the specific sizes are kept. People come to us because they know we won't charge them for things they don't need. We just sell the basics for local teams and schools. It’s a straightforward shop for people who just want to play. We aren't interested in the big corporate side of sports. We just like being part of the Allipuram community and seeing the local games on the weekends.
