Kamat Lingapur Hotel( 3*) Hyderabad

It gets a bit confusing for folks sometimes because the name mentions Hyderabad but we are actually over here in Visakhapatnam. We are set up in Flat Number 503 at Sri Durga Towers. That’s in the Railway New Colony, so you can imagine the sound of the trains is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. The pin code is 530016. It’s a 3-star setup related to the Kamat Lingapur Hotel brand, but our daily reality is based in this apartment building. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding colony, which is always humming with activity. People are constantly coming and going because of the proximity to the railway station. We handle various tasks from this office, and it feels more like a home than a sterile hotel lobby. Sometimes the elevator in Sri Durga Towers is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs or just waiting around chatting with neighbors. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big team of polished receptionists in suits. It’s just us in the flat, working through the bookings or whatever paperwork is piled up for the day. Living and working in Visakhapatnam has its own rhythm, and the Railway New Colony is right in the thick of it. We just keep the door open and stay busy with the work at hand.
