Jyoti Pharma

Our pharmacy, Jyoti Pharma, is tucked away in Prashant Nagar, right over in Tc Palam. It is a small shop but we keep it stocked with the medicines people need around here. Usually, it's just one or two of us behind the glass counter. We spend a lot of time checking dates on boxes and making sure everything is where it should be. People come in with their prescriptions and we go find the strips for them. It is quiet for most of the morning and then gets busy when people get off work. We know a lot of the older folks in the neighborhood who come in every month for their heart or sugar pills. Sometimes we have to order things in if they aren't on the shelf, and that takes a day or two. The shelves are getting a bit crowded lately. We try to keep the place cool because of all the medicine. We don't really do much else besides selling what the doctors tell people to get. It’s an honest job. We've been at this location for a good while and the neighbors know they can find us here. The light outside flickers sometimes but we haven't got around to fixing it yet. We just want to make sure the right medicine goes to the right person. That is basically what we do every single day from morning till night. It is just me and my cousin working here most days.
