Jobs Avenue

Our spot is at H No 54 12 25 in the Vidya Nagar area, specifically HB Colony. We're close to VS Krishna College in Visakhapatnam. The zip code is 530022 if you're mailing anything. Jobs Avenue is basically just a few of us in a room trying to help folks find jobs. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. It’s a regular house-turned-office setup with D Dakshina Murthy. We spend the day looking at job openings and talking to people who walk in. Some days are slow, especially when it rains, but usually, there's a steady stream of people. Visakhapatnam has plenty of industries, so we try to keep up with who is hiring. We aren't doing anything fancy. It's just about getting a person into a job so they can earn. We keep our files organized as best we can. The college brings a lot of energy to the street, which is nice. We mostly stick to our local area. If you're coming from the main road, it's not hard to find. We drink a lot of coffee and stay on the phone. It's practical work for practical people. No big speeches or promises, just checking the lists and making some calls for the neighbors. We’ve been doing this for a while and it feels right to be part of the neighborhood here. We focus on the task at hand.
