Jobs Avenue

We are located at Door No 27 7 72 2 in Srinagar. This is the Gajuwaka area of Vizag. If you know where Prathiba Public School is, we are right near there. It's a local street, usually kids running around or people heading to the shops. Jobs Avenue isn't some massive agency. We just work out of this office helping people find employment. Vizag is growing, so there is always someone looking for a start. We spend our mornings answering calls and checking who is hiring nearby. It gets a bit dusty outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on the lists. We don't use fancy software or anything, just honest talk and keeping track of who needs what. Being near the school makes it easy for parents to drop by sometimes. We see a lot of young people fresh out of school looking for their first real gig. We sit down, talk about what they know, and try to point them in a direction that pays. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do here in Gajuwaka. The office is small. We have a few desks and a lot of paper. Sometimes we have to wait on companies to call back, which takes time. We just stay patient and keep the door open for whoever walks in. It feels like a community effort most days when we manage to get someone a job.
