Jk Engg

Jk Engg is located at 69-8-27 on Venkataratnam Street. It is a quiet enough spot, though things get busy inside the workshop. We do basic engineering work, the kind of stuff that requires a lot of patience and a few good wrenches. I have been working with my hands for as long as I can remember, and this place is where I spend most of my waking hours. It is a small operation, just a few of us who know the machines inside and out. We do not put up big signs or run ads in the paper. Most people find us because someone told them we do decent work. Our benches are covered in bits of metal and old sketches of parts we are trying to fix or build. Sometimes the coffee gets cold before we get a chance to drink it because a job took longer than expected. That is just part of it. We like the challenge of a difficult repair. Venkataratnam Street is a nice place to be based, close enough to the main parts of town but tucked away just enough. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the things we build actually hold up. It is honest work and we take it as it comes. No big promises, just a few guys in a shop trying to be useful to the neighborhood and paying the bills.
