We operate out of Flat 403 in the Shailesh Vihar Apartment building. It’s in Block B, which is located in the Deputy Para area of Ranchi. Being near the Kutchery makes it a central spot for our work, though it’s tucked away in a residential-style apartment block. The office doesn't feel like those big glass buildings you see in other cities. It's more of a practical, lived-in space where we get the airline paperwork done for the Jet Lite division. There are four floors in this block, and we are right at the top. The elevator works most of the time, but some of us just take the stairs if we are in a hurry or if the power flickers. Outside, Deputy Para is always moving with people going to the courts or the various government offices nearby. Jharkhand weather can be quite unpredictable, so we often have a few umbrellas leaning against the office door for whoever needs them. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and stacks of files. We deal with a lot of administrative stuff for the airline. The rooms are a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work just fine. We have a small area where we make tea in the afternoons. It’s a very grounded way of working, without any of the fancy corporate extras. We just focus on getting the flight details and passenger information sorted out for the day. Sometimes the street noise from the city drifts up to the fourth floor, reminding us how busy the local market is.
