Janakis Fair Beauty Parlour

We have been here on Vpez Road in Duvvada for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot especially with everyone heading towards the industrial area or coming back home in the evenings. Janakis Fair Beauty Parlour is just a small place where we handle basic things like haircuts and eyebrow threading. Most of our regulars live right here in Rajeev Nagar so we know them by name. It gets pretty hot in Visakhapatnam during the summer months so people come in mostly to get their hair tied up or just to sit under the fan for a bit while they wait their turn. We don't have fancy chairs or anything too modern but the mirrors are clean and we keep the floor swept. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon which is a bit of a headache but we manage with the natural light from the door. It’s mostly just quiet work here. My family helps out when it gets crowded on weekends. We started this because there weren't many places nearby for the ladies to go without traveling all the way into the main city. It’s nice to see the same faces every month. We don't do anything too complicated, just the usual stuff people need for weddings or just day to day life. The shop is easy to find if you are walking down from the main junction. It’s just a regular neighborhood spot for anyone around Duvvada.
